Every year from mid/late February to the end of May the humpback whales visit us to give birth to their calves and at the same time to mate. Chaves Bay offers the perfect conditions to observe the humpback whales, which can be up to 18 meters long and weigh up to 40 tons.
Whale Watching with Maesha
Come aboard from Maesha, the catamaran piloted by Captain Marc, who has 15 years of ocean experience. With a length of 15 meters and a width of 6 meters, the catamaran lies perfectly in the water. A board toilet is of course also available.
Admire the humpback whales and their calves in their natural habitat on Boa Vista's west coast.
